Amazon depicted in the marble relief dated from around 340 BC from the open-air altar of the Temple of Artemis (Artemision) in Ephesus (now Selçuk, Turkey) on display in the Ephesos Museum in Vienna, Austria. The Artemision was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
