The aperture is round or often somewhat broader, oval, and we thus find here a distinct approach to the remarkable form of gonotheca which occurs in all known forms of Aglao- â phenopsis and Cladocarpus species, save that a distinct upper lip is less often clearly discernible. Nematocarpus ramuliferus was formerly only found in the cold area (fig. XXXVIII), but the two finds fall just in the zone where otherwise warmer atlantic, deeper-living visitors occur sporadi-.
