Pétrus is a Bordeaux wine estate of the Pomerol appellation. It makes a red wine mostly from Merlot grapes. The estate belongs to the family of the Libourne wine merchant Moueix. Although the wines of Pomerol have never been classified, Pétrus is one of the most expensive wines in the world.
