Corbury Hill Late Bronze Age unenclosed platform settlement above a cutbank on a bend of the Midlock Water, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, UK. The scooped out & levelled up platforms for a row of at least five timber round houses on the hillside above R of the eroded river bank. The settlement was unenclosed & undefended. This view was taken looking SSE from Normangill Rig on the N side of the valley where there are similar house platforms. Coupland Hill is to the L (W) in the photo.
