Prussia: A helmet for reserve officers, of cuirassiers, 1843 pattern. Brass-rimmed steel bowl with brass fittings. Gilt plate, slightly polish worn, with a superimposed reserve cross (with one of its arms missing). The attachment screws are old, but not original. Cambered chinscales, attached by long replacement stud bolts. Of the trefoil rosettes, one is original, the other a modern replacement. A leather officer's cockade on the right.
