In 2019 it will be called '100 Years Bauhaus'. The GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts Leipzig is offering a permanent exhibition on this subject in the anniversary year with and the focus on Bauhaus in Saxony. The special exhibition BAUHAUS_SACHSEN deals with the Saxony contacts of the avant-garde school. The industry and publishing industry of Saxony as well as intellectual heads proved to be potent partners for the art school and its graduates. A number of prominent Bauhäusler / -innen were born in Saxony or worked here.
