Club's Anniversary ; The Pittsburgh Florists' Club cele- brated its twenty-fifth anniversary Monday night, November 20, with a banquet at the Fort Pitt hotel. The tables were set in the Dutch room. E. C. Keineman, the first president of the club, acted as toastmaster and read a paper entitled "The History of the Club," in which he spoke of J. W. Ludwig as being the father of the club. It was Mr. Ludwig who started the in- terest in a club after returning from the S. A. F. convention at Boston. The first meeting was held in the store of Ludwig & Eichter and the organization perfected. Since that time the club has had a continued growth and has done its share to advance the produc- tion of better flowers. Among the other speaker
