The Kansas State Collegian is the only student organ on the hill that is notcontrolled by the Students Self-Governing Association. The paper will continueto be independent as it will always preserve its individuality. Milton Eisenhower, editor, and Ralph Foster, business manager, have pilotedthe school paper through a most successful year. Page 68 Datrp Jubgtng 3Team. The Dairy Team of 1919 competed for places at the National 1 >airy Cattle Congres- at Waterloo, fowa, Sept. 22, and at the National Dairy Show held atChicago. October 6. Cups were offered lor high team by the- National Dairy Show and liy the Hoards Dairyman magazine. The Holstein-Friesian A ciation also offered a cup for high team in judging Holstein cattle. All three ofthese trophies were won by the Kansas team. The team was coached l>y Mr. H. \Y. Cave, whoisa graduate in Dairy Hus-bandry from the Iowa State Agricultural College at Ames, Iowa. He tookgraduate work at K. S. A. C. and is now associate professor of Dairy Husbandryat K. S. A. C. The men on the team are all members of the Dairy Club, which is an organ-ization of dairy students. The Club holds an annual students judging contestand co-operates with the Dairy Department in college activities. Page 69 &tock=Jubging Vttam
