Monument to the work of Mordukhovich and Grishko was opened in 1967, in the year of the 50th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. The figure of a revolutionary is located on a high pedestal. Behind the pedestal, the authors of the project placed a stele with a bas-relief and the inscription: "Eternal is your feat in the hearts of future generations." After 45 years, the statue fell into disrepair; it was replaced with a new one made using modern technologies. Moreover, it is not an exact copy of the previous figure; many residents of Lipetsk believe that the modern version is more interesting and expressive.
