26/01/21 ***With good video*** After fifty years of being left derelict, restoration of Aqueduct Cottage, built by Florence Nightingale's family, takes a step closer to completion today, as work begins to rebuild the timber roof frame. The cottage, built in 1802, on the Cromford Canal, Derbyshire, is being restored by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and will soon open as a visitor centre and gateway to Lea Wood Nature Reserve.
