Paradise bird. Here Jessurun de Mesquita has almost completely released the endeavor to display a real animal. What remains its patterns within the wording of a bird of paradise that seems to be fused with the background. What mainly counts is the decorative character. Fine white lines in the tail of the bird reminiscent of the way Escher performed the fur of his 'white cat'.
