NORFOLK, Va. (May 23, 2016) Rep. Trent Franks, House Armed Services Committee member, goes through the mess line before joining Sailors for lunch and a tour aboard Nimitz Class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Franks, along with other representatives, also toured Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) and Helicopter Mine Countermeasure Squadron 15 during the visit in order to gain first-hand insight on current Navy readiness.
