His contributions to scientific literature are numerous, including papers andtext-books. He was President of the Engineers Club of Philadelphia in 1901; Vice-Presi-dent of the British Society of Public Analysis 1901 and 1902; President of thePhiladelphia County Medical Society in 1910; and is a prominent member ofseveral organizations, both medical and non-medical.
