Captain Ton Brouwer of the North Sea Clipper Albatros


The Albatros was the last sail driven cargo vessel in Europe. A Dutch cargo ketch, the Alabtroswas built in 1899 - her last freight carrying voyage was in 1996. Completely restored in the early 1980s under its new owner former Greenpeace skipper Captain Ton Brouwer, the Albatros has regular moorings at Wells-next-the-sea in North Norfolk.
