Farmers harvest rice in the rice paddies on the outskirts of Srinagar in Indian Administered Kashmir on 09 September 2020. Farmers cut the plants by hand and lay it out to dry, before threshing them by hand to separate the rice grains from the stalk. Manual harvesting is a very labour intensive process
