Fossilised shark tooth. Fossilised tooth of an Otodus sp. predatory shark-like fish. Otodus lived in the Palaeocene and Eocene epochs, from 60 to 45 million years ago. It was widespread with fossil remains found in Eurasia, Africa and North America, and grew up to 8 meters. This specimen measures 60 mm from the tip of the root to the tip of the tooth.
