Lt. E. N. Jackson from the Signal Corps took this photograph, known as Subiect 15190, on July 1918 at Fort Myer, Virginia. The image depicts a Jiu Jitsu drill for soldiers, led by Capt. Allen Smith. In the photograph, a soldier prevents a waist hold attack by using a chin hold. Notes indicate that the photograph was released by Recho Ag. on August 5, 1919.
