Ōgawara (大河原町) is a town located in Shibata District, Miyagi, Japan. During spring, its river bank will come alive with over 1000 cherry trees in full bloom. It is consistently voted as one of the top cherry blossom viewing spots in Tohoku area. Its night cherry blossom viewing is also hugely popular.
