Rome produces fame and art; Varie Antiquates Romanae; Roman ruins and coastal landscapes (series 2). A stone with the map of Rome has been crowned with three crowns and is based on a base, where Roman devies is chiseled. The stone is flanked by the fame with a trumpet, dressed as a Roman soldier, and by painting, with painting stick, brushes and palette, who crown the stone with a laurel wreath. Print is part of a series of Roman ruins and coastal landscapes to the prints of Willem van Nieulandt. This series is a copy of the series, who made Claes Jansz Visscher to Van Nieulandt.
