SONSONATE, EL SALVADOR, May 1986: A forensic team examines human remains. Between 1981 and 1983 the well at Los Mangos farm, Armenia, Sonsonate, was used as a human dumping ground by the local army-organised civil defense. Up to 41 people were killed, some put down the well alive. In 1986, after public and international pressure the well was excavated and the remains brought to the surface.
