Construction of the new Embassy for London is proceeding at the site in Nine Elms, South London. The foundations are being laid for the massive development which is expected to be complete in 2017. The Embassy will then transfer from the present building in Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, London. Several residential developments adjacent to the embassy site are also being built and there will also be a new Undergound station.
