1st Lt. Amie Billstrom, a physician assistant with the 409th Area Support Medical Company (ASMC), assesses a patient in the immediate care area May 9, 2017 at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Ind. The 409th ASMC, based in Madison, Wis., took part in Guardian Response 17, a multi-component training exercise designed to test Army units’ ability to assist the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) in the event of a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) catastrophe.
