A couple of tents, one green and one orange, are set up in Mather Campground. There is a little snow on the ground. Trees and rocks surround the campsite. During the winter months, the campground office is closed and online reservations are not available. Registration is first come first serve using the self-pay machine located at the campground office at the entrance to the campground.
