Music lovers flock to the newly opened Guitar Center store in Times Square in New York on Friday, August 8, 2014. Guitar Center, bucking the overall internet shopping trend, is planning on opening up to 20 stores a year. The chain already has 262 retail locations. The Times Square store, considered a destination store, at 28,000 square feet is in the location of the former Daffy's discount clothing chain and has recording studios, instrument rental, lessons and provides a place for musicians to play with the equipment.
