(Jun. 9, 2022) Construction Electrician 2nd Class Zackery Almond from Albemarle, , assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 conducts maintenance checks on a 60K generator during Command Post Exercise phase two aboard Port of Gulfport pier. NMCB 1 is conducting an intense homeport training plan to expand their ability to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater operations.
