11/09/2021 River Thames Gravesend HMS Albion (L14) is an Albion class multi-role ship of the Royal Navy. She is tasked as an amphibious assault, transport, and hospital ship. The vessel is also used to transport emergency supplies and aid in disaster relief operations. HMS Albion is pictured on the River Thames near Gravesend and is a participant in the DESI 2021 defence exhibition annually held at the ExCel Centre in London.
