Linggu Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the southeastern area of Purple Mountain, Nanjing. The temple complex can be found in Linggu Park and consists of three main buildings - the Beamless Hall, the Linggu Pagoda and the Buddhist temple. The temple was first built in the year 515 in the Liang Dynasty and claims to be 'the best Buddhist temple in the world'.
