The Quakers graveyard, whichwould appear to have been in use long be-fore there was any word of erecting aMeeting-House. was enclosed by greatstone dykes, which were again and againdemolished by order of the Town Meeting-House stood on one of themost elevated sites in Aberdeen, the groundrising in a steep gradient from the highestpoint in the Gallowgate. The buildingwas a very substantial one, the walls beingof considerable thickness. Latterly it wasused for many years as a currying shop byMessrs.
