Fore wing leaden grey, slightly tinged with rufous and irroratcd with fuscous; the medial area with the costal edge white and with black fasciae in discal and subraedian folds ; the lines dou])le tilled in with white; subbasal line waved, from costa to submedian fold ; antemedial line oblique, waved, angled outwards above inner margin, not connected with the claviform, which is narrow and defined by white ; orbicular and reniform with white annuli, the former small, round, the latter narrow, with pale centre defined by brown ; postmedial line strongly bent outwards below costa, then minutely dentate and with series of dentate black marks on its inner side, ol)lique below vein 4 ; subterminal line white, Avith prominent series of dentate black marks on its inner side, angled outwards at vein 7 and excurved at middle ; a terminal series of small black lunules ; cilia intersected with grey.
