One of the finest and most valuable in the whole list; bright dazzling crimson, sometimes changing to rosy crimson; flowers large, very doubleand full, and highly scented; a healthy aod vigorous grower, and a constant bloomer. This is a similar rose to the "; but being much more double, is very much better than that variety, for out-door planting, for which we can recommend it very highly; while the Ben- nett is more adapted for winter forcing, for which purpose it is much to be preferred to this. Introduced in spring of 188i. Identical with that hitherto unequalled Rose, Perle des Jardins, except that its color, instead of being a canary yellow, as in that variety, is of the rich shade of saflfron and orange, similar but deeper than the coloring of -"Safrano" or "Md. ; So good a rose of this color, with the large size and perfection of the "Perle," will be hailed with delight by every grower of roses. In size, vigor and pro- ductiveness it is in all respects the same as the variety from which it sprung, except that the color of the young foliage is of a much deeper crimson, wMch contrasts beautifully with
