Aerial view of sewage farm on bank of flooded River Avon, UK

Aerial view of a sewage farm on the bank of a flooded River Avon in Wiltshire, UK. River Avon has flooded after bursting its banks near Salisbury. This river is the primary source of water for the sewage farm. It is likely that during flood events, sewage may be released into the river. Additionally, a trout farm that is situated less than half a kilometre downstream draws water from the same river. Photographed in February 2024.
