Pinkham Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire (USA) lies on the western side of Mount Washington, the tallest mountain peak in the northeastern United States. Several outdoor activity attractions for visitors are located in this valley including the Great Glen Outdoor Center, the Mount Washington Auto Road (the oldest man-made tourist attraction in North America) and the Appalachian Mountain Club center at Pinkham Notch.
