The work of the Open Hearth is con-stantly increasing and the need oflarger and more fitting accommoda-tions is more and more felt. Our physical director, Mr. S. , and Mrs. Dixon, returned Mon-day September 3d from Fairport, , where they have been spendingtheir vacation. During the first week of Septemberthe gymnasium and bath rooms wereclosed and thoroughly cleaned andrepaired in preparation for the work ofthe fall and winter. The gymnasium opening will takeplace about the second week in October. The preliminary meeting of the Hill-yer Institute will be held Mondayevening, October 8th. The first termbegins October 15th. At a recent meeting of the Educa-tional committee plans were made forwork of the ensuing year. The classesand teachers will be as follows: Architectural drawing, F. W. Whi-ton; free-hand drawing, Herman Mat-zen; advanced mechanical drawing,Frank Harrington; elementary mechan-ical drawing, N. P. Work, Harold , E. R. Seward; woodv/ork(boys), N. P.
