LLyn Dulyn in distance from Clogwyn Maldy, in Carneddau range of mountains below summit of Craig y Dulyn, Snowdonia, North Wales


A very good example of a former volcano in main outcrop of volcanic strata of Caradoc age in northern Snowdonia and part of Capel Curig Volcanic Formation of which nearby Llyn Melynllyn lake is also part. Graveyard of about 20 aircraft, being the final unintended destination of WW2 wartime planes, though many of the crew members survived.
