Thrush infection of the penis
Thrush infection on a male patient's penis. This infection, known as candida balanitis, is caused by the fungus Candida albicans. C. albicans is normally harmless, but the use of antibiotics or a suppressed immune system can lead to infection. Treatment is with antifungal drugs.
