Cat Fright is in the centre of the circle,the cupboard; Dog Bright is on the outside of the A, B, C, tumble-down D,The cat is in the cupboardand cant see me. Dog Bright dances around behind theplayers in the circle and calls these words toCat Fright. Poor Dog Bright ran off with allhis might Because the cat was after him,Poor Dog Bright. The players in the circle raise their claspedhands and Cat Fright rushes out afterDog Bright. The players sing the rhythmover and over until Dog Bright is caught. Poor Cat Fright ran off with allher might Because the dog ivas after her,Poor Cat Fright. Dog Bright now turns and chases CatFright who tries to get back to the cup-board before the dog can catch her. Shouldshe succeed, she goes and stands with her backto some one in the circle, who backs out andbecomes Dog Bright and the previous DogBright becomes the cat for the next the cat be caught she must act againas Cat Fright, while the dog chooses a suc-cessor in the same manner as Cat Frightwould have done.
