5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 22, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, lifts off from the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52). Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
