Leaving the Autovía de la Luz highway and the town of Conil de la Frontera behind, taking the CA-215 road, El Palmar beach can be seen on the horizon, a rectilinear strip of sand that accompanies the seashore as far as the eye can see. It is a kilometric beach backed by fields of dunes covered with vegetation and plots with extensive agriculture. Its white waters and steep bottom create the perfect conditions for surfing, with El Palmar being an enclave for competitions and the practice of this sport. Around the tower, on its promenade, there are different restaurants and shops where a large number of people gather to enjoy the sunset and practice surfing.
