Congressman Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and his official party visit Marine Corps key leaders from II Marine Expeditionary Force, 2nd Marine Division, and 2nd Marine Air Wing, to discuss the MV-22 Program and a presentation on warfighting and leading Marines during a visit to Marine Corps Air Station New River, , Feb. 9, 2017. This visit helped develop a fuller understanding of the Marine Corps' leadership philosophy, how it differentiates from other services, and how the philosophy can be applicable to Congressional Staff in their current roles.
