He is still liv-ing on the old homestead. As a companion andhelpmate on lifes journey, he chose Miss LauraMcCann, a daugliter of William W. and Sarah H.(Bell) McCann. Tiieir union was celebrated De-cember 2, 1874, and unto them have been born sevenchildren, .as follows: Jennie, Harry, Mabel, Ilattie,Laura, Lona and Florence. With the exception ofLaura, who died Februaiy 2, 1891, all are yetliving. Mr. Scott supports that party which stood bythe Union during the late war, and is a stalwartRepublican. He was a faithful soldier, ever found. I
