Genova, Italy - June 2013; Porta Soprana is the best-known gate of the ancient walls of Genoa. These go back at least tp the 9th Century CE. After major restorations carried out between the 19th and 20th centuries, they now looks like they did in the medieval period, at the time of the construction of the Barbarossa walls (circa 1150 CE.).
