The Barn owl Tyto Alba, is found all over the world apart from the Arctic & Antarctic. However they are endangered in the British Isles due to farming practices & loss of habitat. This raptor is used in the sport of falconry they have very long wings for catching small mammals in long grass, also have acute hearing & eye sight. Heart shaped disc on its face ears are one lower the other higher & very black eyes. Beautiful white bird that screeches to communicate
