Subarachnoid haemorrhage, MRI scans

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain image board of a 53-year-old male patient with a suspected subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH). SAH is bleeding into the subarachnoid space, the area between the arachnoid membrane and the pia mater surrounding the brain. There is the presence of periventricular hypersignals and hypersignals in the convolutions of the posterior parietal territories suggestive of bleeding originating from the cerebral territory (basilar trunk and posterior verebral branches).
