Blue sky trees view Chlodna Street towards St Charles Borromeo Church and Warsaw Trade Tower, Warsaw, Poland

St Charles Borromeo Church (Kosciol sw. Karola Boromeusza), at Chlodna Street 9, was built 1841-1849 in neo-Renaissance style. It was blown up by the Germans after the 1944 Warsaw Uprising and re-built in 1956. From 2010-2011, the cobblestones road of Chlodna Street, with its tram rails, was restored to its pre-war appearance. At this location the tram lines stop and Chlodna Street turns towards Elektoralna Street. In the background of the shot rises the 43-storeys Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT), built 1997-1999, and, reaching a height of 208 m (682 ft), includes a 24 m antenna spire rising from the roof, and is, with the Palace of Culture and Science, one of two buildings in Warsaw with a height of over 200 m. It is currently the third tallest building in Poland. The Insurance Company, AXA, is the main tenant and its logo is seen prominently on the upper floors. The skyscraper has underground parking for 300 cars and a 2-storey shopping centre.
