That this was formerly treal extent of the constellation, is shown by the fimat the star-cluster forming the knot of CoiBerenices is still called by Arabians the Lions Taand there are vague traditions showing that Lformerlv extended to the constellation The Lesser Lion is one of Heveliuss abconstellations. It occupies a space betweenGreat Bear and the Lion, which might have 177-i GOOD-WILL. 3§9 ividcd quite readily between these two constella-ons. Sextans is another idle addition to the con-ellation figures.
