New sugarcane sprouts on the acres of former soybean crops that were killed by the 2016 historic flooding in Louisiana on the land of farmer Ricky "Possum" Roussel. Possum lost nearly 500 acres of soybean due to the flood, but he's made use of the remains by shredding the unharvested crops and using them as a compost while planting the new Louisiana Severe Storms and Flooding.
