Lance Cpl. Lemarcus Williams and Lance Cpl. Michael Christeas conduct corrosion control by doing preventative maintenance on a CH-53 Sea Stallion tail disconnect aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) Oct. 7. Corrosion control is conducted to sustain optimal operation for the aircrafts participating in Exercise Trident Juncture 18. Trident Juncture is a NATO led exercise in which the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Air Combat Element will play a pivotal role as a sea-based MAGTF. Williams is a Ch-53 mechanic and Christeas is a CH-53 crew chief with HMH-366.
