Bust of Francesco Morosini 1618 to 1694 Venetian admiral Commander in Chief of Venetian Fleet 1657 . Elected Doge 1688 Judge Magistrate defeated the Turks in the Peloponnese and subsequently named "Peloponnesiaco" . The four children figures around him symbolize his virtues. Mounted on the wall of City Hall previously known as The Noble Theatre of Saint Giacomo of Corfu. First built between 1663 and 1691 as a club for the officers of the Venetian fleet and was used as a meeting place 'Loggia' for members of the aristocracy.
