Underwater Construction Team Two’s (UCT 2), Construction Dive Detachment Alpha (CDDA), performed an ROV inspection of a culvert system at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni and utilized the ROV to locate sunken fenders from the harbor pier. CDDA is on the second stop of their six-month deployment, where they are conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
