Robinson found it breeding onBuckiinguy Station, near the Macquarie Marshes, in the western Central District, and from the central Western District Ireceived its eggs from the lateMr. W. Liscombe, taken by himnear Wilcannia,in October, south and west Dr. found it breedingin the Broken Hill District, andsouth-east from that city the lateMr. K. II. Bennett obtainednumerous examples, as well asits eggs, near Mossgiel and theLachlan River.
